JFS offers a weekly Adult Day Program (ADP) for Jewish seniors dealing with mild to moderate cognitive impairment. The program provides participants with one-on-one opportunities to work with staff on the FitMinds® InterAct Caregiver’s kit, lots of skill development, and social interaction. Staff take an individualized approach, focussing on the strengths of participants and drawing on their needs, interests, and experiences.

The FitMinds® program is more than just a memory program: it’s filled with activities, exercises, and games organized around five areas of cognition:

  • Language and Music
  • Visual/Spatial Orientation
  • Memory
  • Critical Thinking
  • Computation

A hot Kosher lunch and snacks are provided.  Transportation is available for an additional fee.
