Our experienced facilitators deliver professional development training to front line workers, staff members and volunteers and anyone working with newcomers in English or French. The focus is on individual responsibility for putting Charter values into action in everyday life. Possible workshops for newcomers can be arranged on a case by case basis.
We discuss such topics as the power of habit and association, how we form our opinions and why individuals often use points of reference received in their childhood in making their judgment as mature adults.
We provide basic practical tools for dealing with prejudice while leaving room for exercising personal judgment and individual choice.
We offer on-site delivery, refreshments and resource materials, such as scenarios, reference guides, etc.
For the brochure on this training see our resources page.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE THIS TRAINING PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ONLY IN ONTARIO FOR THE GROUPS SPECIFIED. FOR OTHER GROUPS OR OTHER PROVINCES, PLEASE CONTACT US.
